My 7-yr old son and I had a fantastic day of fishing on the Fox Chain with Captain Joe. Not only did he put us on a lot of fish (and quite the variety), but he was extremely patient and supportive of my son. Not always easy qualities to find in a guide. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get out for a fun day out on the water. And I highly suggest going for the full day with shore lunch as well on the Chain. Delicious walleye and sides cooked over a campfire. One of the better all-around experiences in the area. We’ll be back for sure.
We decided to take our daughter fishing for her birthday. Joe made it fun and took real good care of us. Our daughter caught the biggest fish and had a memorable day. We plan to use Joe again. Oh and his cooking is amazing!
Had a great time with captain Joe, this was my second time out with him and his knowledge of the sport is incomparable to any one else I know. Always catch fish, and on top of that he’s a awesome guy, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time fishing with Captain Joe! We caught so many varieties of fish and of course I was asking so many questions. It brought back memories of me fishing with my mom and grandpa when I was a little girl. The fish fry he made on the fire was so good and it was my first time eating walleye. It was like having a staycation being on the water. We definitely will be booking another trip again!! Thanks for the fun!!
