Hi, my name is Joe Baron and welcome to Rod and Pan. Being recently retired from a career in manufacturing, I am now truly blessed with this opportunity to dedicate my newfound time to sharing my hobbies of fishing and cooking. I created Rod and Pan as my social channel to share my knowledge and continued learning, with the ultimate goal of inspiring or deepening yours. Through this site you can book a guided fishing experience with me on the Fox Chain of Lakes, Lake Geneva or the Bay of Green Bay. You can choose that your experience include a mid or end of trip Canadian style walleye fish-fry.

When following me @Rod and Pan you can expect fishing related content from tips to current conditions on the waters I fish most. These waters include the Fox Chain of Lakes, Lake Geneva and the Bay of Green Bay. I will be targeting a variety of species that includes Smallmouth, Walleye and Musky. Similarly on the Pan side, in addition to smoke cooking on my Traeger and cooking over the open fire, you will be introduced to some of my grandma Flemmy’s Italian recipes as well as other twists and spins inspired by my experiences cooking with her. My goal is to inspire and fuel your inner passion whether it be cooking, fishing or both, just as my grandmother inspired mine.
